Hopton C of E Primary Academy

Hopton C of E Primary Academy had a community day this term to help develop the school. We have achieved so much and have together produced a newly painted sensory room, a well needed paint in the entrance hall and we have loaded more stones down the paths. We have a newly painted staff room as well as a whole new Early Years and KS1 classroom. Our forest school area is finished, a new sandpit is ready for filling and we a raised bed ready for gardening. The nurture room has been sorted and the library too! Thank you to all governors and community to offered to help, as well as parents, members of the village hall and staff. We would like to thank Rolling Stone for helping us to provide stones for the school as well.

We will be starting weekly Forest School 'Stay and Play' sessions for 2-4 year olds soon so please do get into contact if you would like to join us. Our first session is free! This is something our whole school will be benefitting from as well.

You may have noticed that we have a new sign as we have joined the Elveden Schools Trust and have developed our vision. We grow together at hopton through being: ROOTED in relationships, FLOURISHING in character and CONNECTED in community. Community is really important to us so we are keen to keep making links. If there is anything you can offer the school and teach our children or give them experiences of, then please do get in touch! Children at Hopton had a Rememberance Service at the Church in November and it was lovely to see so many parents and members of the community join us. The children confidently gave readings and laid wreaths during this event.

The school also have a brand new website. Please do take a look:https://www.hoptonacademy.co.uk/
